Save Project and Export MIDI File

Saves the current project first, then opens the Export MIDI File dialog — ensuring no work is lost before delivering a MIDI file to collaborators.

Have your MIDI editor open or make sure you have MIDI events in your project. This macro will export those MIDI events as a .mid file and then save a new version of your project—perfect for creating a backup before making big changes.
