These Terms govern your use of KeyCmds. By accessing or using the service you agree to be bound by them.
1. Introduction
KeyCmds is an AI-powered assistant for Cubase users, operated by Uptown Bubble Music LLC, a company based in New York, NY (USA). By creating an account, accessing, or otherwise using the service, you (the “User”) accept and agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. User Account
- Registration: You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- Account security: You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for any activity carried out under your account.
- Minimum age: KeyCmds is intended for users 16 years of age and older.
3. Acceptable Use
While using KeyCmds, you agree to use the service responsibly:
- You may: Use KeyCmds for personal or commercial Cubase production work, including importing the macros and PLE presets we provide into your own projects.
- You may not: Perform mass scraping of the service, abuse the API, attempt reverse engineering, or redistribute KeyCmds content as your own product without written permission.
KeyCmds reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Intellectual Property
- The KeyCmds Vault content (presets, macros, generated scripts) is the intellectual property of Uptown Bubble Music LLC.
- Users may freely use the presets and macros within their own personal and commercial projects.
- Redistribution of Vault content as a separate product or bundle is not permitted.
- “Cubase” and “Nuendo” are registered trademarks of Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH. KeyCmds is not affiliated with or endorsed by Steinberg.
5. Beta Service
KeyCmds is currently offered as a beta product. The service may experience interruptions, bugs, or significant changes. We do not guarantee 100% availability and the platform may evolve as we refine the experience.
6. Free and Premium Tiers
- Free tier: Will remain free during the beta period.
- Premium tier: When launched, Premium will require a subscription. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.
7. Payments (Premium)
- Premium payments are processed by Stripe. KeyCmds does not store credit card information.
- Refunds follow Stripe's standard policy and the relevant subscription terms shown at checkout.
- Price changes will be communicated by email at least 30 days in advance.
8. Limitation of Liability
KeyCmds is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We are not responsible for data loss or corruption affecting Cubase projects, key command files, macro libraries, or any third-party software resulting from the use of our guides, generated macros, or PLE presets.
You are responsible for backing up your projects, Key Commands.xml, and macro libraries before applying any KeyCmds-generated content.
9. Termination
- You may close your account at any time from your account settings.
- KeyCmds may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
- On termination, your data is handled according to the Privacy Policy.
10. Disputes and Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will first be addressed through good-faith mediation. If unresolved, disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New York, NY.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Significant changes will be communicated by email to registered users. Continued use of KeyCmds after changes take effect implies acceptance of the new Terms.
