Enable Re-Record and Return to Zero
Enables Re-Record mode and returns the playhead to zero, so each new recording automatically replaces the previous take.
Select the track or tracks you want to re-record. When you run this, it'll turn on Re-Record mode and jump the playhead back to the start so you're ready to record over your previous take.

Download the zip, then in Cubase open the Macro Manager, import the macro XML, and assign a key command if you like.
