Precount and Record
Enables precount, returns to zero, and starts recording
Make sure you have the tracks you want to record on selected in the arrange window. The macro will turn on precount, return the playhead to the start, and begin recording.

Download the zip, then in Cubase open the Macro Manager, import the macro XML, and assign a key command if you like.
